April 24 golf tournament to benefit Snellville Police Department

SNELLVILLE – The Snellville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is hosting its annual Blue Light Golf Tournament and Fundraiser April 24.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., there will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and lunch and awards are slated for 1 p.m. at Summit Chase Country Club, 3197 Classic Drive.

The SCPAAA is a 501c(3) organization with a goal of raising money and provide support to the Snellville Police Department. In the past SCPAAA has provided funds for the police K-9 and their equipment, laptops for the Criminal Investigation Division and push bumpers, tinted window treatments and spotlights for the police cars. This year, the funds will be earmarked to help purchase the SPD's fourth K-9.

Hole sponsorship is $110. Team is $400 for four players and a tee sponsorship. All donations are tax deductible.
