CALL FOR SPECIAL ELECTION
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-540 and § 3-4-41, that the City of Snellville, Georgia will conduct a Special Election to be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 for the purpose of authorizing the City of Snellville to issue licenses for the package sale of distilled spirits.
This Special Election will be held in the Snellville City Hall Community Room, located at 2342 Oak Road, Snellville, Georgia 30078. The polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
Advance voting will be held Monday through Saturday, October 17, 2022 through Friday, November 4, 2022 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at Snellville City Hall located at 2342 Oak Road, Snellville, GA 30078.
The voter registration deadline for this Special Election is October 11, 2022. This is the last day a person may register to vote in the Special Election.
The citizens will vote on the following question:

Shall the governing authority of the City of Snellville, Georgia be authorized to issue licenses for the package sale of distilled spirits within the city limits of the City of Snellville?” |
All persons desiring to vote for authorizing the City of Snellville to issue licenses for the package sale of distilled spirits shall vote "Yes," and those persons desiring to vote for rejection of authorizing the City of Snellville to issue licenses for the package sale of distilled spirits shall vote "No." If more than one-half of the votes cast on the question are for approval of authorizing the City of Snellville to issue licenses for the package sale of distilled spirits, the City of Snellville, Georgia may permit and regulate authorizing the City of Snellville to issue licenses for the package sale of distilled spirits. Otherwise, authorizing the City of Snellville to issue licenses for the package sale of distilled spirits shall not be permitted.

CONVOCATORIA PARA ELECCION ESPECIAL
Por la presente se da aviso, de acuerdo con O.C.G.A. § 21-2-540 y § 3-4-41, que la Ciudad de Snellville, Georgia llevara a cabo una elección especial el martes, 8 de noviembre de 2022 con el propósito de autorizar a la Ciudad de Snellville a emitir licencias para la venta de licores destilados empaquetados.
Esta Elección Especial se llevará a cabo en el salón comunitario del ayuntamiento de la Cuidad de Snellville, ubicado en el 2342 Oak Road, Snellville, Georgia 30078. Las casillas de votación se abrirán a las 7:00 a.m. y cerrarán a las 7:00 p.m.
Votación avanzada se llevará a cabo de lunes a sábado, 17 de octubre de 2022 hasta el viernes, 4 de noviembre de 2022 durante las horas de 9:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m. en el ayuntamiento ubicado en el 2342 Oak Road, Snellville, Georgia 30078.
La fecha limite para registrarse como votante para esta Elección Especial es el 11 de octubre de 2022. Este es el último día en que una persona se puede registrar en la Elección Especial.

Las personas que desean votar para autorizar la Ciudad de Snellville a emitir licencias para la venta de paquetes de licores destilados deberán votar “si” y aquellas personas que deseen votar por el rechazo de autorizar a la Ciudad de Snellville a emitir licencias para la venta de paquetes de licores destilados votarán “No.” Si más de la mitad de los votos emitidos son para aprobar la autorización a la Ciudad de Snellville a emitir licencias para la venta de paquetes de licores destilados, la Ciudad de Snellville, Georgia puede permitir y regular la autorización de la Ciudad de Snellville a emitir licencias para la venta de paquetes de licores destilados. De lo contrario, no se permitirá autorizar a la Ciudad de Snellville a emitir licencias para la venta de licores destilados empaquetados.

PUBLIC TEST OF ELECTION TABULATION SYSTEM
Notice is hereby given, that on Thursday, September 29, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m., there will be a public test of the election tabulation system to be used for the November 8, 2022 City of Snellville Special Election. Said test to be conducted in Conference Room 145 of Snellville City Hall, located at 2342 Oak Road, Snellville, Georgia. All interested persons are invited to observe said test.

NOTA INFORMATIVA
PRUEBA PÚBLICA DEL SISTEMA DE TABULACIÓN PARA ELECCIÓN
Se pone en conocimiento del público, que el jueves, 29 de septiembre de 2022, comenzando a las 10:00 de la mañana., habrá una prueba pública del sistema de tabulación que se usará para la Elección General de la Ciudad de Snellville el 2 de noviembre de 2022. Dicha prueba se realizará en el Cuarto 145 en el Ayuntamiento de Snellville, ubicado en 2342 Oak Road, Snellville, Georgia. Todas las personas interesadas son invitadas a observar dicha prueba.
