2008 Special Events      

Wal-Mart Kids All-American Fishing Event-sponsored by Wal-Mart in Snellville  The Fishing Derby will be at T. W. Briscoe Park, Saturday, June 21 for ages 3-12 years, $2 entry fee.  Bring your fishing pole, bait will be provided. There will be lots of prizes and several contests available. Please pre-register, space is limited.

7:15-8 a.m. Check-in;    8 a.m. Orientation;    8:30 - 11 a.m. Fishing Derby;   11:30 a.m. Awards and Prizes

Movies Under the Stars will return this year on Saturday, August 23 to T. W. Briscoe Park at dusk on Valley Field.  Brought to you by the City of Snellville and Star 94 FM. Movie to be announced later.

Fall Carnival, Saturday October 25 in T. W. Briscoe Park on Cotter Field from 6 to 9 p.m.

Touch the Earth with Native People coming in October.

Christmas Tree Lighting Monday, December 1 at Snellville City Hall
