Municipal Court Payment Information

1. If you have received a traffic, city ordinance, or Animal Control Citation you can access the Fine Payment Schedule to find out if your citation can be paid without appearing in Court. Or you may call the Municipal Court Office at (770) 985-3550. Please allow a minimum of three (3) working days from the date of your citation so that it can be received from the issuing department and processed.
2. You may pay your citation online with Visa or Mastercard, or once you find out the amount for your citation you may pay by mail with a money order or cashier's check only. Online payments must be made no later than midnight on the day prior to your court appearance. Otherwise, you are required to pay in person at the Municipal Court by noon on your court date or appear in court.
3. Fines may be paid in person with cash, cashier's check, money order or Visa and Mastercard.  If paying in person with a credit card, the cardholder must be the person presenting the card for payment. 
4. If you did not have insurance coverage on the date of your citation for the vehicle you were driving, you must appear in Court. If you did have insurance coverage for the date of your citation then you may bring the insurance card for the vehicle you were driving to the Municipal Court Office. This card must display an effective date with an expiration date proving coverage for the date you were cited. If this proof of coverage is verified, the fine will be suspended.
5. If you wish to mail in your fine amount, please make your money order or cashier's check payable to Snellville Municipal Court and address it to:

Also, please make sure your citation number is referenced on the money order or cashier's check and enclose the yellow citation with a signature on the back at the bottom of the citation.
